President Illa inaugurated the new Pediatric and Adolescent Oncohematology Area, which was fully funded by the Aladina, Albert Bosch, and Small foundations. Four researchers from the institution received Gilead Biomedical Research grants. The hospital published a pioneering study examining the application of clinical simulation within healthcare social work. Additionally, FC Barcelona presented a dedicated mental health plan designed for children and adolescent athletes at the campus. The institution also participated in developing the first official consensus document focused on accidental hypothermia.
