| News: | The hospital presented experimental findings from pilot projects showing that sailing activities positively impact the health of adolescents with rare skeletal diseases. Newsweek ranked the institution as the leading orthopedic facility in Italy and fourth overall across Europe. A completely restructured intensive care department spanning over one thousand square meters was officially inaugurated at the medical complex. The facility became the first public institution in Italy to acquire the advanced EOS Edge radiological diagnostic system for three dimensional spinal reconstructions. The new super technological 3DLAB laboratory opened to facilitate the personalized design and three dimensional printing of customized prostheses. An official funding allocation of over two million euros was approved by the region to reconstruct the children's terrace on the top floor covering of the hospital building. |
